I can see air Asia flight just flown off.. We are waiting for
ours..need to wait apprx one hour..to pass our time we checked few
outlets .. Quite few in numbers at Krabi airport ..finally we are
going back to Singapore after 3 night visit to this beautiful place.
Chinese new year had been a wonderful opportunity to explore this land
of surrounded islands.
We checked in to Pakasai resort a green escape from crowd situated
uphill of Aao Nang.
If you like to be with people/ surrounded by people Aao Nang is the
best selection and not to devalue road side market providing food n
shops and other stuffs and beach with long tail providing short tours.
Our first day when we reached around3pm we just relaxed in hotel and
in the evening we enjoyed food at Aao Nang itself and roamed around in
the market.
Doing island tour to Phi Phi/Maya bay/Bamboo island/monkey bay is a
must do to experience the pebbles less white sand with turquoise blue
water with picturesque mountain type structure.
There are few other island tours available.I m sure must be exciting
but as being limited by time we could do only to Phi Phi in our second
day of trip.
Third day we prefered to have our own transport and drive our own so
we hired a red scooter around 200 bahts near our hotel and we headed
to Tiger's Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea)
We quit our plan for Hot spring and Emerald Pool as it was hectic job
for us to do around 60km one way by Scooter and bad road sign boards.
We were told if we want to do this temple we have to take more than
thousands steps one way to reach on top of the temple and amazing view
we tried few steps towards cave only and could see Buddha hall
situated in silent caves where drop of water were falling from the
roof and we could feel the respite of mind. That gentle breeze, shadow
and pious environment really reminded us the old time and we
understand why monks decided for these caves away from old worldly
things.
Way back to Aao Nang we were just happy on our decision to decide
about our Krabi trip and whenever we find time we would like to come
back again.
