Kindness

My stop is still 5 stations away..I have around 20 mins and then I was checking social sites and then I see this interesting post about a women helping ,110 drug addict kids,beggars and homeless..I want to read about it .Then I see all those cute pics of kids lauging,posing,studying with this God mother and my heart starts melting.

A shine in their eyes is a proof that their life has been changed already with this heavenly act of kindness.

When for common people like us will take several minutes to decide whether to contribute 50$ somebody already sacrificed his/her personal life to bring ray of light in somebody's life.From where this courage flows..how...can't say they don't face challenges in their lives..surely do..but how?

I want to read more about these people who are helping humanity to survive in most difficult era.

Most of them mentions about one particular event that strikes in their mind and doesn't leave untill they take this path.I believe it's more about inner voice..the voice we all have but we mute and don't want to listen as this costs time and loss of opportunity.

To defend ourselves we praise these people and appreciate the path they have taken and tag them as God so that it gives us satisfaction..well we are nowhere close to them..and we move on...

But the time we are living where we juggle around professional and pesonal life and chasing financial security what we can do?

I truly believe Kindness is not something you should additionally adopt at some moment of your life..this is the way of life.Who doesn't feel better after doing the right thing..right thing is kindness in every small thing we do.

We dont need to go extra mile to find this happiness if we start noticing its around us. Greet people with smile whenever your meet..specially the one you see near turnstile standing since morning and guiding people at exit door..pregnant lady who is managing visitor cards at reception..talk pleasantly to taxi driver during the trip to office..pass extra stuff you dont need to needy people..comfort aunties and uncles in their late 70's working at hawker centre that you like their food..make your kid play with all and dont descriminate with other kids on any basis..answer politely and cheerily to cleaners in your society.. buy something from small shops..etc etc

Whatevre you do will come back to you.. the rule of universe
